Fort Burnside Communication & Coastal Defense Museum is a nonprofit organization with its federal 501(c)(3) application in process. Every membership directly supports ongoing restoration, archival work, and education programs at Beavertail State Park.

Questions
- Is my membership tax-deductible?
- Our federal 501(c)(3) application is currently in process and is expected by the end of 2026. Membership dues are not currently represented as tax-deductible. If recognition is approved, deductibility may still be limited by the value of membership benefits received.
- Can I give a gift membership?
- Yes — complete the membership checkout using the recipient's email address, then email us with the recipient's name if needed. A volunteer will confirm the membership and send welcome details within 1–2 business days.
